Watches and Understanding Time

It was announced today that Roberto Cavalli will be collaborating with luxury Swiss watchmaking company Franck Muller Group for a new range of Roberto Cavalli watches.  The Roberto Cavalli watches will be the latest designer watch collaboration.  The line will be for both men’s watches and women’s watches.
Roberto Cavalli, the famed Italian fashion house, has reportedly created a range of watches with the Swiss watch company.  The collection of watches for men and women will be unveiled towards the end of the year.
In an interview with WWD, Cavalli said ‘I have always been very impressed by the craftsmanship, the quality, the innovation, the style and the creativity of the Franck Muller Group. These are characteristics that have allowed the brand to distinguish itself in the watch-making sector.’
‘Our two worlds have a lot in common, and as a great watch collector I find that just like an evening gown, a watch tells and defines exactly the character and the state of mind ofwho wears it.’
The time pieces will cost from $1,600 to $7,600, with entry level timepieces up to more luxurious items.
